How does it work?
Workably, Chrome will warn users if it detects a request from an untrusted source, giving users a heads-up to avoid potential issues. However, Google eventually plans to make this feature automatically block such requests, offering a more robust shield against unauthorized access.
What to Expect?
If Chrome blocks a request, users will see an error message reading ‘BLOCKED_BY_PRIVATE_NETWORK_ACCESS_CHECKS.’ While the feature is still in development and doesn’t have a dedicated Chrome flag at the moment, the Chrome Platform Status page indicates it will be available on both Android and desktop versions with Chrome 123.
